Black tea snobs in my Indian/Afghan family won’t accept anything less. For them, tea is a way of life. They have it when they wake up, over the course of the day, and right before bed. Having said that, my family prefers this brand of tea, although they prefer loose leaves for the best flavor. Although I like the flavor of Ahmad’s teabags more, I alternate between the two. However, the teabags work as intended and should be steeped in your cup for 5 minutes (they recommend 3-5, but any less I feel lacks flavor).

This is by far my favorite peppermint tea of what’s out there. Twinings English Breakfast Black Tea tastes like I grew the peppermint and dried the leaves myself! It doesn’t taste medicinal yet when consumed, you can tell it’s good for you. This tea at the end of the day just makes me feel better. It helps with mood and GI/digestive issues. Love it!! I have purchased Twinings English Breakfast Black Tea twice and will continue to repurchase it.

These fit perfectly in my Hamilton Beach Thermal Carafe Two Way Flex Brew Trio, which I recently purchased. Each Tea K-Cup may be used twice. The first time is full strength, the second time is 67% to 50% strength, and when I make eight-ounce cups with a hint of lemon in them while cooling down, I even get a third cup. Also works nicely for two twelve-ounce cups.
Full strength for both the first and second brews. I use bold since the water is hotter. Or it works for two regular eight-ounce brews and a strong third brew that just has a faint touch of lemon taste and the rest is a ginger flavor that has been toned down. Yes, I purchased the lemon and ginger K-Cups. I get hungry after drinking three cups of Twinings English Breakfast Tea. Highly Recommended!!!

I’ve used Davidson’s Tea Bulk, and English Breakfast tea to make Kombucha for years with no issues, although I mix it with organic black tea (50%), Silver Needle white tea (30%), and organic green tea (20%). You should add black at least every other brew to maintain a healthy scoby. Additionally, you should avoid using teas with chemicals or added oils since they disturb the equilibrium of yeast and bacteria, which is why I avoid mixes. However, I’m not clear why white tea cannot be used endlessly if black tea is added or used at least once every other brew.
